Most SKY subscriptions have a commitment period of between 12 and 18 months. Some SKY options also have a minimum commitment period. If you decide to terminate your SKY subscription before the end of the contracted period, you will be liable to pay SKY a fee. You may be required to pay the full amount of the remaining monthly instalments due until the end of the contract period.

Is there a cooling-off period after taking out a SKY subscription?

Yes, SKY does have a cooling-off period if you take out a contract with them. This period is quite long and allows you to withdraw within 31 days. During this period, you can terminate your SKY subscription whenever you want and without any charges being applied. If you wish to cancel, you can send a cancellation letter to SKY customer service.

Even if I cancel my SKY contract, can I keep my phone number?

When you decide to cancel your SKY subscription, you can keep your telephone number.

It is usually your new operator that takes care of transferring your mobile number. To do this, you need to collect your porting authorisation code (PAC) and give it to your new operator. Without this information, you will not be able to keep your telephone number once the termination has been processed.

Where can I find my SKY contract number?

Your SKY account number is usually printed on your invoices. You can also find it online in 'My Sky'. Take your SKY ID and look under "Account summary". Finally, you can find this number by consulting the "My Sky" mobile application.

    Finally, send an e-mail to SKY to request a refund of your cancellation fee.
